Attending the National Sexual Assault Conference was an inspiring and deeply meaningful experience centered on empathy, advocacy, and empowerment for survivors of sexual violence. The conference brought together leaders, advocates, coalitions, nonprofits, law enforcement, and crisis center staff from across the nation, all dedicated to strengthening support for diverse communities. The insights gained have further equipped me to better serve and uplift survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking within Maryland.
